The Gender Justice Fund provides $10,000 grants to groups that use community organizing to promote gender justice at the local, state, national, or international levels. For groups applying to this fund, gender justice must be central to their vision, to their understanding of the issues they seek to address, and to their strategy for social change.
Gender justice exists when all people—especially women, girls, transgender and gender non-conforming people—are able to identify and express their gender and sexual orientation without fear, discrimination or harm, and have the economic, social, and political power and resources to make healthy decisions for themselves, their families and their communities in all areas of their lives.
The 2018 Gender Justice Fund supported a wide range of organizations. Check out the list of last year’s grantees on our website to see if your organization is right for the Gender Justice Fund.
